Managed Services

Critical Manufacturing Consultant

- Collaborate with development teams and project stakeholders to gather, analyse and document functional requirements and customisation needs 

- Design, develop, test, and deploy software components and extensions using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET) 

- Implement new functionalities and enhance existing code modules to ensure seamless integration with the MES application 

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to maintain application stability and performance 

- Work with the QA team to define and execute test plans, ensuring thorough validation of customised modules 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, DBAs and project managers, to ensure successful delivery 

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices 

- Contribute to technical documentation, including specifications, user guides and change logs 

- Stay current with emerging .NET and MES technologies and apply them where appropriate

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field 

- Proven experience (3+ years) in .NET development, ideally within manufacturing or MES contexts 

- Hands-on experience with Critical Manufacturing or similar MES platforms is a strong plus 

- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio and the Microsoft development stack 

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture and design patterns 

- Familiarity with integration of MES systems into broader IT landscapes (e.g. ERP, SCADA) 

- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) and version control systems (e.g. Git) 

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently 

- Effective communicator, able to translate business needs into technical solutions
