As part of ongoing efforts to formally grow Arcondis’ sustainability service and solution
portfolio, we are looking for a talented and driven candidate to support the delivery of
sustainability solutions and associated services, to existing and new clients. You will have the unique opportunity to develop your sustainability Subject Matter Expertise (SME), contribute to shape the sustainability service portfolio we offer to our clients and directly create impact by helping our clients become more sustainable.
Project Services
Senior Consultant Sustainability Services
- Provide expert input on green chemistry, including PFAS (“forever chemicals”) in life science R&D and manufacturing on specific client projects
- Create high-quality deliverables and templates, including reports, evaluation forms and presentations
- Support the creation of digital assets, including automated evaluations
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding clients' sustainability goals
- Support the development of sustainability solution services related to green chemistry and PFAS
- Communicate complex sustainability concepts (e.g. PFAS, green chemistry) in a clear and compelling manner, fostering client understanding and buy-in for recommended solutions
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the sustainability solution portfolio by integrating existing Arcondis services and knowledge with new innovative approaches and (emerging) technologies
- Stay up to date with the latest sustainability research, standards, regulations, frameworks and tools (e.g. software, offsetting schemes) relevant to the healthcare industry
- Contribute to the development of strategic sales materials
- Represent sustainability services and support sales activities at conferences and events

- Master’s degree in chemistry or related field
- Solid scientific understanding of climate and environmental science
- Solid knowledge in chemistry (green chemistry would be ideal), and, ideally, in PFAS
- Strong interest in sustainability supported by practical experience
- Experience in green chemistry and PFAS (“forever chemicals”)
- Experience in project management
- Comfortable presenting expertise topics to diverse audiences
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, manage and maintain
relationships at all levels
- Proactive and outgoing personality
- Strong strategic and systems thinking mindset
- Creativity & Innovation
- Methodical approach with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Hands-on, action-oriented approach with a focus on output and high-quality
deliverables
- Knowledge of circular economy, environmental engineering, waste management, or
